The paper documents a 2025 turnkey installation in the Southwestern United States, where FR-RO replaced two RO units within an existing High-Efficiency RO (HERO) treatment train treating cooling tower blowdown. The retrofit was designed to address challenging and highly variable feedwater conditions while maintaining ZLD compliance.
