Dr. Perlmuter began his career as a manager at Al-Chem - consulting & engineering services Ltd. He continued his R&D work as a project manager of a joint development program between Tel Aviv University and Israeli Water Commission, developing early warning system for neuro-toxic chemicals detection in water, based on bio-monitoring techniques. In 2007 he was appointed as the CTO of a company engaged in water treatment related projects, and was in charge of R&D devision as well as technical support for all the marketing activities in Israel and abroad. Since 2009 he serves as the CEO of ROTEC Ltd. Dr. Perlmuter holds a B.Sc. in Biology, an M.Sc. in Ecology and Environmental Quality and a Ph.D. in Eco-toxicology, all from the Life Sciences Faculty at the Tel-Aviv University

Dr. Jack Gilron, a Co-founder and CTO of ROTEC is a Senior Scientist at ZIWR and a specialist in membrane technology and prevention of scaling in membrane processes. Dr. Gilron is involved in several research project related to desalination and waste water treatment based on membrane technology applications. Prior to his present appointment Dr. Gilron was Chief Technologist of Carbon Membranes Ltd., Senior Scientist of Membrane Products Kiryat Weizmann and scientist at Nalco Chemical Company. Dr. Gilron holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachussets, an M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y. and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel.
